That Susan. You really get a feeling that C.S. Lewis doesn't like her that much, even before what happens in The Last Battle.
The book is fun, but the adventure scenes are pretty short and not very descriptive, except for the contest between Miraz and Peter.
I saw the movie earlier this summer and it's amazing how many changes they made to the original story. Some for the better (the fight scenes were great and Prince Caspian much dreamier than if he had been the "boy" written in the book), some not so great - Peter's need to prove something, the love story.
I'm finding that rereading these stories as an adult doesn't hold the same interest as reading the Harry Potter series. Is that sacrilegious?
