I think I read this back in January. Obviously, I don't remember a lot of details, other than some discussion with Delia about it in IM that involved the phrase "Please sir, I want some more." Which I of course misquoted, although I did look it up just now to make sure I had it right!

This book was good, if not Dickens' best, and I enjoyed it. When you're done reading it, you will go, wait a second... Oliver wasn't even mentioned for half the book!

This book was supposed to be a book club book, but I moved to North Carolina before the group met. And then do you know what happened? You do, because the only people who read this blog are book club friends and the occasional author. Book club got cancelled due to low RSVPs and never got rescheduled. I guess I should be flattered that it couldn't continue without my amazing presence, but I'm just sad. *sniffle*
