Coyote Blue was Christopher Moore's second book. It lacks the polish that his later books had, but it is typical Moore - funny, irreverent, vulgar, gross, and outlandish. It's the story of a man fleeing his Native American roots by hiding his desires behind the changeable personality of an insurance salesman. Meeting the woman of his dreams and a god, he decides he wants to start living a real life. Of course, that's when the story gets fantastical, but that's what makes it good, right?
As usual, I recommend this Christopher Moore book.
